COPYWRITING RATES

100 % original product advertising, promotional, sales, or marketing paragraphs or pages: starts at 5p per word up to 1000 words.  Cost is negotiable above 1000 words per individual job.

For SEO copywriting add 2.5p per word (includes additional meta name, titles headers and keywords). 

Journalistic, informational, promotional and creative writing such as ghosting and blogging

negotiable at a flat rate, by the word, or starting at £35 per hour.

Retainers and ongoing job rates are always negotiable.

When clients have provided a clear brief they are usually happy with the first draft of copy. 

However, I do understand that sometimes revisions are needed to amend the tone or change some words. 

Just to be on the safe side, two revision drafts are included in the price.  

Revisions are ‘tweaks’ to the content of the copy.  Total rewrites are different.  If a client wants to change the content substantially away from the original brief, top-up payment will need to be discussed.  

Some freelancers don't publish their rates.  I think you deserve to know up front.
